"Great service right from the very beginning when we were just enquiring about the house. Replies were prompt and very helpful - for example Amber sent a very detailed guide on the local pubs and restaurants when I asked for a recommendation, including places that were good for children. The house itself is huge, we were 9 adults and 4 kids and plenty of space to spare! Other things we appreciated - two open fires with some wood provided, cots, nicely decorated/art on the walls, comfy sofas, two fridge freezers, two lounges (providing some separate space and peace for the adults!) wifi and the kids loved running around in the huge garden. The location was peaceful with countryside views, but still with a co-op a convenient 5 min drive away. We would definitely go again and highly recommend others interested in visiting Longacre! Thank you."

"A great stay in the Oxfordshire countryside but close to all amenities. A well apportioned house with two large sitting rooms & large kitchen dining area. Comfortably furnished with all that you could need. Highly recommended for friend or family gatherings. Would definitely return. Amber is a very kind & warm host."

"Very spacious and comfortable accommodation, easily catered for 9 of us with room to spare. The owner was very attentive and keen to ensure that we had everything we needed. The village itself is very peaceful although not far from Oxford. An excellent location for a large group of visitors - highly recommended."

"The house is spacious and roomy, with plenty of parking space, and benefits from having not just one but two well furnished living rooms. The beds were very comfortable with the highest quality bedding we have ever experienced in a rental property. The large kitchen and dining area is ideal for preparing and enjoying meals with friends and family. Despite being winter we enjoyed the expansive yet private-feeling garden, complete with a hideaway with pool table. Amber (the owner) was helpful, relaxed and responsive which made the whole experience stress free. We've been taking similar breaks away as a family for over a decade — Longacre with its high standards, great location and roomy feel, might very well be our first repeat destinations!"

"My family rented the house at Goosey for 10 days to celebrate my sister’s birthday. We were 14 in total. The property is extremely spacious, well equipped and comfortably furnished. The beds are comfortable, enough bathrooms and toilets to render queuing unnecessary (most of the time) and the kitchen easily allowed the cooking of meals for such a large number. There is a large, peaceful garden with a lovely summerhouse that was bagged by my American nephew as his bedroom. When someone in our party inadvertently switched something off which meant we had no hot water the owner of the property was there in a trice to put things right.

"All in all we had a wonderful stay and I would recommend it wholeheartedly. An added bonus was the discovery of a Deserted Medieval Village on the ‘village green’ outside the house. The house platforms and tracks are clearly visible. What a joy!"
